How are materials defined in Ansys?
Material data is defined using the FEMGEN command ‘PROPERTY MATERIAL type’, and attached to any part or set in the model using the FEMGEN command ‘PROPERTY ATTACH’. ANSYS ‘MP’ commands are then generated by the interface program which assigns an identification number for each material defined.
